Silver Medal for Cakes of Distinction at Cake 2006

Melissa Pasley was awarded a Silver Medal at Cake 2006, which was held at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham.

The innovative design was based on a hexagon shaped cake with the centre removed and coated in a mint green royal icing. Holly & Berries made from run-out icing were placed around the top and sides of the cake. The cake was encased with a delicately piped cage of royal icing in a continuous holly design.
